Appointment and Payment Policies

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend that clients schedule an appointment to avoid having to wait. If this is your first time visiting our veterinary hospital, please fill out our new patient forms in advance.

Please arrive 20 minutes early for your initial appointment and bring your pet’s past veterinary records and medical history with you. All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier for their protection as well as your own.

If for some reason you are unable to make your appointment, we kindly request 24 hours' notice so that we may treat other patients. (Excessive no-shows may be required to prepay for appointments.)

For those pets who are being dropped off for veterinary services or baths, we ask that you please complete our pet drop-off information form.

Payment is due when services are rendered. Be sure to check out our coupons and promotions section to learn how you can save! We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • Debit cards

  • Cash

  • CareCredit

We also accept all forms of pet insurance. While we don’t recommend one brand over another, VPI, Pet Plan, and Pet’s Best are the most popular among our clients.


Marina Veterinary Center has a full-service pharmacy on site. Pet medications may be picked up in person or we will mail them when necessary. Refill requests may be made over the phone and are typically ready within 24 hours.


Our retail area features a selection of fine pet products for your convenience. These include:

  • Homeopathic products from Heel and Seroyal

  • Whole food nutritional supplements from Standard Process

  • An array of medicated pet shampoos

  • A variety of natural products, including essential oils to aid in flea control
